2018 CV Merlot

Bright ripe red cherry on the nose hugged in warm earthiness and a nod of clean minerality. Very low acids make the palate approachable with vanilla bean on the front, folowed by baking chocolate balanced with fresh black plum and a smooth, velvety finish. A versatile pairing red, it's great with herbed chicken, roast duck, turkey, falafal and tapenade and acidic foods like onions and tomatoes.
